Public Area Attendant

Common Area Attendants / Beach Club: Keep the Beach Club and its Outlets in a presentable, clean, tidy and safe atmosphere. To perform housekeeping duties according to department standards assigned by Supervisor. Promote the Sea Island legacy of warm genuine hospitality while upholding and ensuring compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Report to work on time, in proper uniform, and within the company’s grooming standards. - Areas of housekeeping will be as follows but not limited to: Sea Strike, Beach Club, Common Areas, Restrooms, Wonderland, Snack Shack, Southern Tide, Ocean Room, Employee areas. - Maintain a thorough knowledge of current guest services, activities, dining options, shops, local attractions, and historical information regarding Sea Island and the surrounding area to answer any questions guests may have to the best of one’s ability. - If applicable, complete a Guest Problem Resolutions (GPR) form on any issues (solved or unsolved issues) and follow-up on issues as needed (if computer access is not available give information to admin support) - Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work areas

Restaurant Attendant (Front of House):  

Busser/Food Runner: Provide friendly, attentive and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all our guests and members. Bussers will clean and set tables, restock plates, or (at times) serve food. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Ability to answer questions guests might have regarding food being served

- Carry dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen

- Serve and refill water and other beverages as required

- Know the table numbers and seat numbers for all areas of the restaurant -Be knowledgeable in food product, and food preparations.    

Cook:

Assist with preparation of foods in all stations. Properly execute as a member of the line staff by working constantly and cohesively in a variety of cooking methods to assure timeliness, efficiency, and product integrity; demonstrate exemplary work ethic, technique, and productivity as a team member, and assisting others when necessary    

Steward:

Assist Kitchen operations including but not limited to:

- Removal of garbage, transportation of equipment and/or supplies.

- Properly clean and store all china, silver, utensils, pots, pans, serving ware and other equipment

- Perform sanitation duties such as mopping floors, cleaning work surfaces, sweeping floors, etc.

- Set up functions with ice, tables, chairs, utensils, and other equipment as required

- Maintain equipment in a professional manner and maintain a clean, safe and efficient workstation    

Housekeeping:

Room Attendant: Cleaning residences, guest rooms, locker room and fitness areas, with duties including, but not limited to, cleaning bathrooms, making beds, dusting, replenishing supplies/linens and amenity items, cleaning all glass and mirrors, emptying trash, vacuuming, cleaning stoves and appliances, cleaning outside areas/balconies/patio furniture/patio railings and floors/entry doors/elevators/stairways/ash urns/walls and light fixtures, cleaning fitness equipment, maintaining room attendant carts, in-room and department linen closets. Straighten all locker room, fitness room and public spaces, according to resort standards for cleanliness. Perform deep cleaning, as required. Move furniture or heavy objects, as needed. Transport soiled linens to designated pick up point. Assist with delivery of clean linens. Inspect and remove damaged, stained linen, or imperfectly processed items from service. Maintain cleanliness of all work areas.

Resort Activities Attendant:

Waterfront Steward / Beach Club: Understand and enforce all beach club policies, rules and regulations. Monitor all pools and beach areas in the Beach Club, ensuring the safety of guests. Provide towel service and amenities, as needed by guests.
