Banquet Attendant (Server)
Banquet Server: Responsible for function set-up and breakdown, places orders and serves food/beverages.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned:
• Execute service duties in accordance with Forbes AAA inspection standards and Broadmoor Standards of Excellence
• Maintain knowledge of, abide by, and enforce Colorado liquor laws
• Set up and breakdown table and chairs
• Ensure tables are neatly and appropriately set
• Place orders and serves food/beverages including alcoholic beverages
• Maintain stations
• Respond to guests' needs and assists fellow staff
• Bus and reset tables
• Stack dishes on trays in an orderly and safe manner
• Must remain available on the floor to perform additional duties upon request
• Clean work area at the conclusion of shift
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain knowledge of Broadmoor history and grounds, restaurants, retail outlets and local points of interest and activities
Host/Hostess
Responsible for greeting and seating guests, making reservations and providing hospitality to guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus
· Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners
· Utilize the computer to block and place detailed guest restaurant reservations in the GuestBridge/Open Table computer system
· Utilize the computer to place reservations in the “Guest Itinerary”
· Sets up work stations and control of food and beverage checks
· Identifies and assists in problem solving
· Follows all directions received from Supervisor and Manager
· Demonstrates proper dress code and appearance standards along with correct work habits and positive attitude including smiling, proper English and posture
· Follow the Broadmoor Safety and Hygiene Standards
· Assists in the dining room as needed
Pool Attendant
POOL ATTENDANT: Greet guests, make reservations, give directions, sales rentals, towels and provide hospitality to guests. Ensure guests are provided with all the possible services available at the pool and provide a safe, clean and friendly facility for our guests to enjoy.
Restaurant Attendant (Food Runner)
Busser/Food Runner: Facilitate food service and serve food to guests by performing the following duties.
- Execute guest service duties in accordance with Forbes/AAA inspection standards and Broadmoor Standards of Excellence
- Know the table numbers and seat numbers for all areas of the restaurant
- Serve food from kitchen to guests in an efficient manner
- Communicate with serving staff and kitchen staff to ensure accuracy of orders
- Communicate directly with chef/expeditor to insure proper timing of service
- Be knowledgeable in food product, and food preparations.
- Understand what the kitchen is serving and ensure all food is properly served at the tables
- Maintain thorough menu knowledge
- Inspect orders for accuracy prior to serving. - -- Bring any concerns to the attention of the Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef immediately
- Be able to answer questions guests might have regarding food being served
- Carry dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen
- Wipe table tops and chairs with damp cloth
- Replace soiled table linens and set tables with silverware and glassware
- Serve and refill water and other beverages as required
- Maintain cleanliness of the Hotel Bar
- Help pre-bus and attend to guest needs
- Return stacked bus trays to dish room
- Maintain courteous, professional and polite attitude with all other service and kitchen staff
